Steelcore Electric, Inc, was contracted as a prime contractor with the San Diego Community College District to selectively demolish and renovate building K-100 and provide wall stucco patching in preparation for paint, new interior windows, doors and a new metal wiremold system for electrical and data outlets that are configured to meet each classroom requirement.
Scope Of Work
The work on this project consists of selective demolition of existing casework, desks, white boards and electrical systems to reconfigure space to better serve the new classroom objectives. Existing stucco walls are to be patched back to match existing in preparation for new paint, new openings for doors and windows, installation new doors and windows in these newly created openings, provide and install new sink in break room, and a metal wiremold system throughout the majority of the building to provide the power and data outlet requirements that will vary depending on classroom functions.
